OKATIE, SC – James E. “Jimmy” Preacher, 73, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a native and lifelong resident of Okatie, SC. Jimmy was a graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School and attended Armstrong College. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, William Hughes Preacher and Josie Mae Sikes Preacher and his twin brother, Gerald E. "Jerry" Preacher. He is survived by several cousins.

A Graveside Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, GA.
